By creating a VitalCompass account you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
1. What VitalCompass is — and is not
VitalCompass is a personal health-organization and educational tool. It is not a medical device, not a diagnostic service, not a substitute for professional medical care, and not an emergency service.Always consult a licensed clinician for medical questions. Call your local emergency number in an emergency.
2. Your account
- You must be 18 or older.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter.
- You are responsible for keeping your password secure.
3. Acceptable use
You may not use VitalCompass to (a) upload data about others without their consent, (b) impersonate a clinician, (c) reverse-engineer or interfere with the service, or (d) violate any law.
4. Subscriptions and billing
Paid tiers renew automatically until cancelled. Cancel anytime from Settings → Billing. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law.
5. AI Assistant
The AI Assistant provides general health education only. Responses are generated by a third-party model and may be incomplete or incorrect. Do not rely on the AI Assistant for medical decisions.
6. Disclaimer of warranties
The service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, VitalCompass disclaims all implied warranties including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
7. Limitation of liability
VitalCompass's total liability for any claim arising from your use of the service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from Settings.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
